Real social engineering doesn't arrive as one email

Most phishing simulations exist to trick employees — one email, once a quarter, scored as a pass or fail. They sow mistrust and a gotcha mentality, and they only ever test the inbox, when the worst attacks today are social engineering that starts innocent and turns malicious across LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp and voice, not just email.
